 Los Angeles Community Land Trust Coalition

Research and analyze opportunities to advance policy initiatives for community land control and tenant ownership, including policy development, advocacy and program implementation of a County of Los Angeles $14M Community Land Trust Acquisition/Rehabilitation Pilot Program. (2020-2022)

 Healthy LA

Facilitated development of new 350-organizational member coalition convened at outset of the 2020 pandemic, with a focus on establishing a framework for, and subsequently advancing, COVID relief and recovery policies at Los Angeles County. (2020)

Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning

With CTY Housing, Inc (formerly Yasmin Tong Consulting) and Burlington Associates in Community Development, created a feasibility analysis and business plan for a pilot Community Land Trust in Unincorporated East Los Angeles, including developing policy recommendations for the supporting and sustaining CLTs throughout the County of Los Angeles. (2018-2019)

Alliance for Community Transit-Los Angeles (ACT-LA)

Coordinated drafting of United to House LA Citizen’s Ballot Initiative (2021)  Researched models, crafted analysis, and supported the 35-member equitable development coalition through a campaign which resulted in the Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) Policy at Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority; and convened ACT-LA members and other equity stakeholders to inform and guide Metro’s policy implementation plans. (2017-19)
